Food Pantry
We provide supplement food, personal care items, and diapers once a month for families in the Lamoni and Davis City communities. We help around 75 families each month, which represents approximately 189 individuals.
Services
The Lamoni Food Pantry offers the following services to the communities of Lamoni and Davis City, Iowa.
Emergency Relief Fund
We provide funds to help low-income families who have an emergency need. (e.g., help with rent, utilities, gas for doctor's appointments, etc.)
Step Up Program
We provide a one-time financial assistance to low- income families/individuals. This assistance could include education/training opportunities or licensing, support for housing deposits, car repairs, etc. that will allow them to achieve a more even financial footing.
Candidates must show that they are invested in turning their personal financial situation around.
School Supply Program
Every summer we raise funds to buy school supplies and backpacks for children who need them.
Christmas Meals
Food Pantry volunteers join with the Ministerial Alliance and Lions Club to deliver meals every year to low-income families in time for Christmas.
